New Ulm Food Shelf
The New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf is here to help feed the needy people of New Ulm School District 88, Including the cities of New Ulm, Courtland, Lafayette, Hanska, Searles, and Essig. We distribute food Monday and Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 2:45 PM and the first Monday of each month from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM.
We always welcome new clients and encourage you to visit the Food Shelf if in need of food. To register you will need to know your household income and provide a piece of mail to one of the cities listed above with a current postmark for each person in your household 18 years of age and older.

All client are required to renew their registration each year in July. Please bring your documents with you when you renew your registration.
Nutritional Assistant Program for Seniors (NAPS)
Who is eligible for NAPS?
Men and women over age 60, Minnesota residents, those meeting income guidelines (click here to view guidelines). Must not reside in a facility that provides meals and must prepare own meals.
